Contemporary Photographic Art and Travel Photography. I'm the Head Pixie and Pixel Pusher at Pixielated Pixels, British born and bred but New York City-based. I first picked up a camera over 50 years ago. After all these years I am finally happy, creating the images I always dreamed of. Shooting film and printing in the darkroom never gave me as much pleasure as powerful computers and Adobe's wonderful software does today. I began working with computers in the mid-1980s, and now I have become confident and competent with the tools at hand and feel that the world has finally caught up with my eclectic artistic vision. Intense and powerful colors and a somewhat surreal take on reality are the way my mind works and I enjoy producing images...

Congrats on your sale Chris! What a wonderful vintage piece. So wonderful to see the Towers.I'll never forget the first time I went to NYC a few months after 9/11, seeing that empty skyline driving in made us all cry. This is a great tribute! L/F
Chris Lord replied:
Being an oldster is useful sometimes as it gives me a huge backlog of images to go back to. This one has been a permanent favorite of mine and has seen versions through all kinds of tech changes over the years. Happy you liked this version. Thank you. I miss these building too. I especially enjoyed going up to the open roof and spending time looking out over the city. It was so quiet and peaceful up there. I took their destruction as a personal affront. Cheers
